Whole house renovation with new kitchen, bathroom, flooring, finished basement, electrical, HVAC septic and foundation structure support (our big surprise after inspection). Removed 30+ overgrown shrubs, trees and stumps to create a beautiful, functional front and fenced in backyard.

Meet the Founders
Anne Betts
Founder and Managing Partner
Anne Betts is one of the Founders and Managing Partners of Broad Place Properties, a real estate investment company located in southwest Michigan. With over twenty years of experience managing businesses of various sizes and types, she brings expertise in project and fiscal management, as well as an entrepreneurial drive to her real estate ventures.
In 2021, Anne ventured into renovating an 1890s farmhouse for resale. Initially planning for a 90-day project, she ended up spending a year completing the renovation. Taking on a significant part of the work herself, she learned various renovation skills, from framing and drywall to tiling and cabinet installation. Despite its challenges, this experience fueled her passion for turning rundown properties into beautiful homes.
Anne obtained her MBA from Western Michigan University, Haworth College of Business, with a concentration in business management and graduated with a degree in economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Randall Betts
Founder and Managing Partner
Randall (Randy) Betts is an accomplished entrepreneur, devoted husband, father, and grandfather and proudly holds a degree from the University of Michigan. With a rich background spanning over two decades as a former co-owner of a leading national credit reporting agency and an additional decade in sales and residential construction, Randy brings a wealth of business expertise to every venture.
As the co-founder of Broad Place Properties, alongside his wife Anne, Randy is deeply immersed in real estate investment and business growth. Their mission goes beyond mere financial success, actively contributing to the revitalization of homes and neighborhoods, demonstrating a strong commitment to community betterment.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Randy takes immense pride in his family. He and Anne joyfully celebrate the accomplishments of their four adult children and a beautiful and brilliant granddaughter, adding a personal and fulfilling dimension to his life's journey.
